1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to GlowHives (“GlowHives,” “we,” “our,” “the Company,” or “the Platform”). GlowHives operates as an online business directory and discovery service available through our website and mobile application. The purpose of GlowHives is to connect customers with independent salons, spas, barbers, wellness providers, and related businesses (“service providers”). 

By accessing, browsing, registering, or using GlowHives, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Policies. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between GlowHives and all users, including business owners, service providers, customers, and visitors. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately stop using GlowHives. 

GlowHives reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. 

2. NATURE OF THE PLATFORM

GlowHives is a business directory and discovery tool. GlowHives does not: 

• Own, manage, operate, or control any of the businesses listed. 
• Provide, deliver, or guarantee any of the services listed. 
• Handle or process bookings, cancellations, or payments between customers and businesses. 

All agreements, transactions, communications, and disputes are strictly between the business owner (service provider) and the customer. GlowHives is not a party to any transaction, booking, or service agreement. 

3. DISCLAIMER OF RESPONSIBILITY

GlowHives is not responsible for: 

• Service quality, results, or satisfaction. 
• Pricing, quotes, changes in price, or accuracy of information. 
• Scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, or no-shows. 
• Disputes, disagreements, or miscommunications between customers and businesses. 
• Injuries, damages, losses, accidents, or negative outcomes. 
• Fraudulent behavior, misrepresentation, or misconduct by businesses. 
• Technical failures, downtime, interruptions, or errors on the Platform. 
• Data inaccuracies, outdated information, or missing listings.

• GlowHives does not verify professional licenses or government permits,

• The responsibility lies entirely with the business owner and customer, and

• Customers must exercise due diligence before booking or visiting any location.

All use of GlowHives is at your own risk. You acknowledge that GlowHives acts strictly as a directory platform and cannot be held responsible for anything that occurs between a business and a customer. 

4. BUSINESS ACCOUNTS AND MEMBERSHIP

4.1 Registration 

Businesses may register for a GlowHives account to create and manage a business profile. 

4.2 Free Membership Year 

Newly registered business accounts receive one (1) year of free access. 

4.3 Subscription Renewal 

After the first year, business owners must subscribe to a yearly membership plan to keep their profiles active. Accounts that are not renewed will be placed on hold and may be hidden or removed. 

4.4 Payment Information 

GlowHives does not collect payment details from customers. Payment details are required only from business owners after the first free year to maintain their subscription. 

4.5 Non-Refundable Fees 

All subscription fees are non-refundable once processed. 

5. SERVICE LISTINGS

5.1 Standard Categories 

GlowHives provides a standardized service list. Businesses must select from approved categories. 

5.2 Custom Services 

If a service is not listed, businesses may submit it through the Service Submission Form for review. 

5.3 Approval Rights 

GlowHives reserves the right to approve, deny, rename, or re-categorize submitted services.  

5.4 Prohibited Services 

Illegal, unsafe, misleading, irrelevant, or unlicensed services are prohibited. 

6. ACCOUNT TERMINATION AND ENFORCEMENT

6.1 Right to Terminate 

GlowHives and its developers have the full right, at any time and without prior notice, to suspend, cancel, or permanently terminate any account or subscription that: 

• Provides false, misleading, or inaccurate information. 
• Offers services that are illegal, unsafe, or unrelated to the Platform. 
• Violates these Terms, Canadian laws, or international regulations. 
• Harms the reputation, stability, or functionality of the Platform. 

6.2 Developer Rights 

Authorized developers may access business and customer data as needed to provide technical support, enforce policies, or maintain system functionality. Developers may suspend or delete accounts, services, or content without prior notice. 

6.3 Finality of Action 

All decisions by GlowHives regarding suspension, termination, or account removal are final and non-negotiable. 

7. BOOKING POLICY

7.1 Customer Responsibility 

Customers are solely responsible for contacting businesses directly to request services, negotiate terms, schedule appointments, and handle payments. 

7.2 Business Responsibility 

Businesses are solely responsible for managing bookings, cancellation policies, refunds, deposits, and client communications. 

7.3 GlowHives Disclaimer 

GlowHives is not responsible for bookings, cancellations, deposits, pricing disputes, or refunds. GlowHives does not guarantee availability, accuracy, or service quality. 

8. PAYMENT POLICY

8.1 Customers 

GlowHives does not collect or process payments from customers. 

8.2 Business Owners 

Business owners must provide valid payment details after the first free year to maintain their profiles. 

8.3 Subscription Fees 

All subscription fees are billed annually and are non-refundable. 

9. PRIVACY POLICY

9.1 Information Collected 

• From Businesses: business name, contact details, categories, descriptions, media (logo, images, videos), and subscription payment details. 
• From Customers: browsing activity, search preferences, inquiries voluntarily submitted to businesses. 

9.2 Use of Information 

GlowHives uses information to display business profiles, improve user experience, and provide technical support. 

9.3 Sharing of Information 

GlowHives does not sell or rent user data. Information may be shared with developers for technical purposes or disclosed if required by law. 

9.4 Data Security 

GlowHives uses reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users accept the inherent risks of transmitting data online. 

10. DEVELOPER POLICY

10.1 Access Rights 

Developers may access all data stored on the Platform for technical support, enforcement, audits, and improvements. 

10.2 Confidentiality 

Developers are bound by confidentiality but may take any action necessary to protect the Platform. 

10.3 No Liability 

Developers cannot be held individually liable for their actions when performed on behalf of GlowHives. 

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All content, design, software, and code of GlowHives belong exclusively to GlowHives. 
• Businesses grant GlowHives the right to display, reproduce, and market their profiles (including logos and media) within the Platform and promotional material. 
• Unauthorized copying, modification, or resale of GlowHives content is prohibited. 

12. INDEMNIFICATION

By using GlowHives, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GlowHives, its owners, affiliates, employees, and developers from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your business activities, or disputes with third parties. 

13. FORCE MAJEURE

GlowHives shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, technical failures, strikes, or government actions. 

14. INTERNATIONAL USE

GlowHives is accessible in Canada and other countries. Businesses are responsible for complying with local laws and licensing requirements in their jurisdiction. GlowHives assumes no responsibility for international compliance issues. 

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowHives disclaims all liability for damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary, arising out of or connected with: 

• Use of the Platform. 
• Services obtained through businesses listed. 
• Errors, downtime, or interruptions of service. 
• Actions of third-party businesses. 
• Data inaccuracies or loss. 

By using GlowHives, you acknowledge and agree that GlowHives is not responsible for anything that occurs between a business and a customer. 

16. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

GlowHives may update, change, or replace these Terms at any time, without notice. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of GlowHives constitutes acceptance of any changes. 

17. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario. GlowHives may, at its discretion, require disputes to be settled through binding arbitration instead of litigation. 

18. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. 

19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Policies represent the entire agreement between GlowHives and its users, superseding any prior agreements or understandings. 

REPEATED DISCLAIMER FOR CLARITY

GlowHives is not responsible for: service quality, prices, bookings, cancellations, refunds, damages, disputes, losses, or any outcomes. GlowHives and its developers may terminate any account at any time, without notice, for any reason. GlowHives may modify these Terms at any time without notifying anyone. All use of GlowHives is strictly at your own risk.
